PROJECT DESCRIPTION
NBI is the EPC Contractor for plant upgrading works in 14 tunnels, with a length exceeding 500 meters along the 113.3 km stretch of Savona - Ventimiglia motorway (Section A10).
The tunnels have been integrated and / or adapted with the following equipment: new emergency stations (SOS + fire extinguishers), new signs, new emergency exits with by-pass remaking, new radio retransmission.
To this, NBI has created the plants and all civil works through the purchase of supplies and the use of subcontracting and also oversaw the ongoing tests, the detailed design and the As Built. In agreement with the Contracting Authority, it has become the protagonist of a clear reduction in the delivery times of the main works of more than 210 days out of the 800 foreseen at the tender basis.
