National Institute of Nuclear Physics

NBI was EPC Contractor for the construction of the building complex intended for experimentation and research activities of the National Institute for Nuclear Physics (INFN), based in Padua.

NBI has carried out the construction design, civil, plant, mechanical, electrical and special works of the building that houses the INFN National Laboratories of Legnaro.

Here in 2016 the Spes cyclotron was inaugurated, a project dedicated to the study of atomic nuclei produced in the most advanced stages of the evolution of stars and which will produce radioisotopes for medicine. The cyclotron (pictured) is the accelerator that represents the heart of the Spes project.
